LaFleur's Coaching Career

Matt LaFleur's coaching career began in 2003 as an offensive graduate assistant at Western Michigan University. He then spent two seasons as the quarterbacks coach at Central Michigan University before joining the Green Bay Packers in 2006 as an offensive quality control coach. In 2008, he was promoted to quarterbacks coach, a position he held until 2016.

In 2017, LaFleur was hired as the offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams. Under his leadership, the Rams' offense ranked among the top 10 in the NFL in several categories, including points scored and yards gained. In 2018, the Rams advanced to the Super Bowl, where they lost to the New England Patriots.

In 2019, LaFleur was hired as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers. In his first season, he led the Packers to a 13-3 record and a berth in the NFC Divisional Round. In 2020, the Packers finished with a 13-3 record again and won the NFC Championship Game, but lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl.
