Arcos Dorados Beats Expectations in Q2, Meets EPS, Beats Revenue
Arcos Dorados Holdings, operator of McDonald’s restaurants in Latin America, beat analysts’ expectations in the second quarter of 2024.
The company reported earnings per share of $0.52, above the consensus estimate of $0.48. Revenue came in at $3.8 billion, above the consensus estimate of $3.7 billion.
Arcos Dorados is the largest McDonald’s franchisee in the world, with over 2,300 restaurants in 20 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. The company is headquartered in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Arcos Dorados has been in the news recently for its efforts to expand its operations in Brazil. The company is investing heavily in new restaurants and remodeling existing restaurants in Brazil, which is the largest market in Latin America.
