In a free LinkedIn certification, a credential ID is a unique code that identifies your certification. It helps verify your achievement and can be used to share your certification with others.

How to Add a Credential ID to Your LinkedIn Profile

To add a credential ID to your LinkedIn profile, follow these steps:

1. Tap your profile picture, then View Profile.
2. Tap Recommended, then Add licenses and certifications.
3. Fill in the relevant details and tap Save.
4. The Add license or certification box should now be on your screen. Under Name, you'll include the certificate title.
5. To add a credential ID of your certification, like Certified Data Scientist, to the Licenses Certifications section of your profile, follow these steps:
1. Under Issuing Organization, like Microsoft. If you tap the associated LinkedIn authority, their logo will appear next to your certification.
2. Under Credential ID, enter the unique code that identifies your certification.
3. Tap Save.
