The hybrid-powered Toyota GR010 Hybrid #8, driven by Sébastien Buemi, Ryo Hirakawa, and Brendon Hartley, dominated the race from start to finish, leading for the majority of the 24-hour battle.

Porsche Dominates Manufacturer Rankings

Despite not securing an overall win, Porsche remains the all-time leader in Le Mans manufacturer victories with 19 triumphs since their first success in 1970. The German marque had a strong showing at the 2022 race, with its Porsche 911 RSR finishing first and second in the GTE Pro class.

The 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans saw four countries share the podium, with Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, and France represented in the top three overall positions.
