Toyota Gazoo Racing has extended its winning streak at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, claiming its fifth consecutive victory in the prestigious endurance race. The hybrid-powered Toyota GR010 Hybrid #8, driven by Sébastien Buemi, Ryo Hirakawa, and Brendon Hartley, dominated the race from start to finish, leading for the majority of the 24-hour battle.
Porsche Dominates Manufacturer Rankings
Despite not securing an overall win, Porsche remains the all-time leader in Le Mans manufacturer victories with 19 triumphs since their first success in 1970. The German marque had a strong showing at the 2022 race, with its Porsche 911 RSR finishing first and second in the GTE Pro class.
